那些抑郁想法是犯罪吗？上帝如何对待一个抑郁的人？

Depression is a mental illness which requires medical, psychological and spiritual assistance. Regardless of the cause, the symptoms of such disorder need to be treated medically. If getting a flu is not a sin, mental illness is not an iniquity. In the Bible emphasized the ministry of Jesus to the sick, including lepers:

Exodus 23:25 And you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the middle of you.

Psalms 103:3 Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, said the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

抑郁作为一种精神疾病需要医学、心理及属灵方面的帮助。不管是由于什么而引起抑郁症病发，这类疾病的症状都要通过医学来进行治疗。如果得感冒不是犯罪，那么有精神方面的疾病也不是作恶。圣经中强调耶稣医治包括麻风病在内的一切病人。

你们要事奉耶和华你们的神，祂必赐福与你的粮与你的水，也必从你们中间除去疾病。（出23:25）

祂赦免你的一切罪孽，医治你的一切疾病。（诗103:3）

祂发命医治他们，救他们脱离死亡。（诗107:20）

耶和华说：‘我必使你痊愈，医好你的伤痕，都因人称你为被赶散的说，这是锡安，无人来探问（注：或作“理会”）的。（耶30:17）

耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教训人，传天国的福音，医治百姓各样的病症。（太4:23 ）

一个敬虔的人会得抑郁症吗？

Many great men of God also have depression including the recent suicide of Matthew Warren, Rick Warren’s son. Spiritual giants like Martin Luther, Mother Teresa and others also experienced depression before. If a Christian has only the spiritual dimension, then every illness is related to spirituality. On the contrary, human beings have biological and psychological needs, when there is a deficit in those areas, some forms of disorders may arise.

许多神重用的人亦有抑郁，包括最近自杀的华理克牧师的孩子马太 · 沃伦，属灵的伟人马丁 · 路德、特蕾莎修女，还有其他一些人也曾经历抑郁。如果一个基督徒只专注于属灵层面，那么所有的疾病都有属灵的含义。反之，人类有生理和心理的需要，如果在这些方面有所不足，身心失常就会出现。
